The northern stretch of White Beach moves at a different pace than the rest of Boracay. Fewer sandcastle vendors, fewer flame dancers working the crowd at sunset, more space between beach chairs. This is Station 1, and it’s where The Lind Boracay has spent the past few years building a name for itself, one guest interaction at a time.
That name is now backed by paper. The Lind Boracay was named among the Philippines’ Best Beach, Island + Upcountry Resorts in the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026, landing at No. 6 in the category. The recognition adds to a run of accolades that already includes a spot in the MICHELIN Guide’s 2026 hotel selection, a Tatler Philippines 2026 Spotlight Hotels listing, and a TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Award.
What the award streak means
Four separate recognitions in one year is not a coincidence. Each comes from a different kind of judge: MICHELIN’s inspectors work anonymously and value consistency over spectacle, Tatler leans into curated luxury and design, TripAdvisor is guest-generated and unfiltered, and Travel + Leisure blends editorial expertise with reader sentiment. When a property shows up across all four, it suggests the experience holds up regardless of who’s evaluating it or how they’re doing the evaluating.

A quieter side of White Beach
Location has a lot to do with the resort’s identity. Sitting on the calmer northern end of White Beach, The Lind Boracay pairs contemporary Filipino design with generous room layouts and direct beach access, giving guests a version of the island that trades some of the foot traffic for room to actually unwind. It’s a deliberate positioning in a destination where “beachfront” can mean wildly different things depending on which station you’re standing on.
Beyond the beach and the sand
The resort has also been expanding what guests do when they’re not on the beach. Yím, its signature Thai restaurant, officially opened this past year under the direction of Boracay’s only professional Thai chef, adding a distinct culinary anchor to the property. It joins a widening slate of wellness and family-oriented programming designed to give guests more reasons to explore the resort itself, not just the shoreline it sits on.
Taken together, the awards point to a broader shift already underway in Boracay’s hotel scene: recognition is increasingly going to properties that can hold their own across categories, not just the ones with the best view.
