What we collect
If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address and, if you provided it, your name. If you contact us by email, we keep that correspondence. When you visit the site, standard server logs record your IP address, browser type, and the pages you viewed.
What we do with it
We use your email to send the newsletter you signed up for. We use contact emails to reply to you. We use site logs to keep the website running and to understand which stories people are reading. That’s it.
What we don’t do
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to build a profile of you or target you with ads anywhere on the internet.
Third parties
We use an email service provider to send the newsletter and an analytics tool to understand site traffic. Both are configured to handle your data minimally. Neither uses your information for their own marketing.
Cookies
We use cookies for basic site functionality and anonymous analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Under the Philippines Data Privacy Act and the GDPR, you also have the right to object to how we process your data or to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
How long we keep your data
Newsletter subscribers: as long as your subscription is active. Email inquiries: up to 12 months after the last exchange. If you ask us to delete your data, we will.

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update this page and note the date above. Newsletter subscribers will be notified by email.
