SM City Marikina, SM City Masinag, SM City San Mateo, and SM Center Antipolo Downtown are hosting a set of Grandparents’ Day activities for families in the East Metro. The lineup covers photo booths, sports courts, group dining, live music, and film screenings, and families can move between malls or stay within one for the day.
Capture moments with lolo and lola
Life Four Cuts, a photo-strip booth chain, is available at SM City Masinag and SM City San Mateo. Photo Objet, offering the same photo-strip format, is at SM City Marikina. Both let groups step into a booth and walk out with a printed strip of photos within minutes, without needing to book ahead.
Get them moving
Pickleball and badminton courts are open to families at SM City Marikina and SM Center Antipolo Downtown. Both courts can be used by mixed-age groups, and no prior experience or equipment rental is required to join in.
Heartwarming dinner
Viking’s buffet restaurant, located at SM City Marikina, is included in the lineup as a group dining option. The buffet format allows a single table to order once and let each family member choose their own dishes.
Enjoy live music
SM City Masinag has live buskers performing sets in the mall’s open areas, along with a free-to-use Public Piano set up in the concourse. The piano is accessible to anyone who wants to sit down and play, not just designated performers.
Watch reruns
SM Cinema branches at Marikina, Masinag, and San Mateo are screening Philippine cinema classics alongside current theatrical releases, giving families the option to catch an older film together instead of only new titles.
