Grand Westside Manila Bay turns two with a month of dining deals

The country’s largest hotel marks its second year with Chapter Two, a June to July celebration built around five dining outlets and a handful of specific, worthwhile discounts.

At Café by Westside, breakfast now comes with a built-in reason to come back. Guests who eat the buffet get same-day access to 25% off lunch or 20% off dinner, a small mechanic that says more about how Grand Westside Manila Bay wants to be used than any anniversary tagline could.

The hotel, the largest in the Philippines with 1,530 rooms in Parañaque’s Westside City, turns two this year, and Chapter Two is its answer to that milestone: a month-long run of dining and leisure promotions across its five outlets, live from June 22 to July 21, 2026.

Two years, five kitchens

Grand Westside Manila Bay opened with scale as its opening argument. Two years on, its general manager is talking less about room count and more about who filled those rooms.

“In just two years, we have welcomed thousands of guests, celebrated important milestones with our community, and built lasting relationships with our guests, partners, and team members,” said Joe Xavier Fijardo, General Manager. “Chapter Two is our way of thanking everyone who has been part of our journey while inviting them to create new memories with us.”

That thank-you takes the shape of five distinct spaces, each doing its own job. Café by Westside runs the international buffet and comfort-food circuit for all-day dining. LaMeza handles contemporary Filipino cuisine built on local flavors and culinary tradition. Zabana Bar is where the evening slows down over cocktails. The Plunge keeps the poolside crowd fed and drinking. Quick To Go covers coffee, pastries, and the guest who has somewhere to be.

What’s actually on the table

The promotions themselves are specific enough to plan a visit around. LaMeza’s anniversary set pairs its signature Surf & Turf at PHP 2,200 per person, with an optional wine upgrade at PHP 622 for two glasses of house wine. At The Plunge, the Swim. Sip. Savor. package runs PHP 1,500 per person for pool access, a PHP 700 food credit, and a mocktail or cocktail of choice. Zabana Bar extends happy hour daily from 2 to 7 p.m., with a buy-2-get-1-free deal on selected cocktails. Quick To Go keeps it simple: two pastries and a free coffee, take-out only, running the length of the celebration.

Executive Chef Christopher Lugtu frames the outlets as variations on the same idea. “Food has always been one of the ways people connect, celebrate, and create memories together,” he said. “For Chapter Two, we wanted to create experiences that bring people together, whether it’s a leisurely breakfast, a special dinner, gathering over good food and drinks with friends, or simply enjoying coffee and pastries during a busy day. Every outlet has its own personality, but they all share the same goal of creating memorable experiences for our guests.”

Behind the milestone

It would be easy to read Chapter Two as a straightforward discount push, and on paper, it is one. But the offers are built around a repeat-visit logic rather than a one-time draw: the breakfast rebate rewards guests who stay through the day, the happy hour is a standing invitation rather than a single event, and the Quick To Go deal is designed for someone who wasn’t planning to be a hotel guest at all, just a passerby who wanted coffee. A two-year-old hotel with 1,530 rooms doesn’t need to prove it can fill beds.

For a hotel whose opening pitch was sheer size, that’s a quieter kind of ambition, one measured in return visits rather than room counts.
