Over a hundred participants turned the mall’s atrium and hallways into a runway — heels, drag performers, and all.
SM City Marikina held a Stiletto Walk last weekend to mark the theatrical run of The Devil Wears Prada 2, drawing more than a hundred models and fashion enthusiasts across a runway that stretched from the mall atrium through two of its hallways.
The SM City Marikina Stiletto Walk, themed Gala To The Max, opened with drag performers carrying oversized shopping bags leading the first strut down the atrium — anchored by a large red stiletto sculpture installed at the center of the space. Drag performer Sofia Trazona joined the walk, while Miss Philippines Earth – Water 2020 Gianna Lianes hosted the program.
Participants ranged from models to fashion enthusiasts, each bringing their own interpretation of the event’s theme. Following the walk, the group proceeded to SM Cinema Marikina for a special screening of the film.
The Devil Wears Prada 2 is currently in its second week and is showing at SM Cinema Marikina, SM Cinema Masinag, and SM Cinema San Mateo.
