Camella has built more than 600,000 homes across 1,250 communities. They stand in 49 provinces and 147 cities and municipalities. That reach sits behind the top result at the Dot Property and Lamudi Philippines Real Estate Awards 2026, where Camella is named Best Housing Developer in Visayas and Mindanao.
It is the first of six honors for Vista Land, Camella’s parent company. The rest go to a multigenerational village in Dasmariñas City, a Tuscan-themed development in Bacoor City, a student tower on Katipunan Avenue, and an investment condominium in Bay, Laguna. Each address serves a different stage of Filipino life. Together, the Vista Land awards read like a map of who is buying, where, and why.
The Vista Land awards 2026 matter less as trophies than as a signal. The company is growing house-and-lot communities and condominiums in parallel, as economic activity spreads beyond the capital and regional cities gain demographic weight. The wins show what that looks like on the ground.
Camella is Vista Land’s flagship housing brand, and its footprint is the argument. Its communities run from metropolitan centers to tourism destinations, growth corridors, and infralink projects.
Mary Lee S. Sadiasa, Chief Operating Officer of Vista Land, ties the award to a longer timeline.
“This honor for Camella as Best Housing Developer in Visayas and Mindanao on its road to 50 years affirms our continued commitment to bring lifelong homeownership to generations of Filipinos across the archipelago. More than expanding our footprint for nearly five decades, we want families to have places where they can begin their forever in communities that reflect their values and remain relevant through the years.”
The quote frames the win as a long-view claim: homes meant to stay useful as families change.
Homes that change as families do
The clearest example is Camella Praverde in Dasmariñas City, Cavite. The close-to-12-hectare community, inspired by Spanish Mediterranean architecture, is named Best Multigenerational Housing Development. Its layouts are functional, its amenities are built for leisure, and its spaces are adaptable, which suits households that share a roof across generations and rearrange as priorities shift. It also sits inside one of Cavite’s growth corridors.
Praverde also takes the People’s Choice Award, decided by a public vote that included industry leaders, market observers, and property buyers. That vote signals trust in a community designed for continuity across life stages.
The other three winners go narrower, and each one leans on its surroundings.
Siena by Crown Asia, named Best Lifestyle Development, sits in Bacoor City, where major roads connect Cavite with Metro Manila and other parts of South Luzon. Its architecture borrows from Tuscany and is translated into landscaped grounds and leisure facilities.
Hawthorne Heights by Vista Residences, named Best Student Residential Development, makes its case with its neighbors. It stands along Katipunan Avenue in Quezon City, near Ateneo de Manila University, Miriam College, and the University of the Philippines Diliman. In an established school cluster, purpose-built housing is hard to argue against.
The Upstate by Vista Manors, named Best Investment Property in Emerging Communities, goes the other direction. It rises in Bay, Laguna, near resort destinations, school branches, retail parks, and developing transport links. The bet is on places where infrastructure, institutions, and local business can support property value over the long term.
If you are mapping the winners yourself, here is where each one stands:
- Camella Praverde, Dasmariñas City, Cavite: close to 12 hectares, with functional layouts, lifestyle amenities, and adaptable spaces.
- Siena by Crown Asia, Bacoor City: 5.9 hectares, Tuscan-inspired, with landscaped surroundings and leisure facilities.
- Hawthorne Heights by Vista Residences, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City: 41 storeys of studio and one-bedroom units, with a pool, gym, function hall, study rooms, and fitness trails.
- The Upstate by Vista Manors, Bay, Laguna: studio and one-bedroom layouts, with recreational facilities, roof decks, and smart home-ready features.
The company calls the pattern a multi-market expansion model, and each brand has a defined job. Camella extends homeownership through multigenerational house models. Crown Asia serves the upscale market with themed developments. Vista Residences answers metropolitan mobility, academic activity, and high-rise demand. Vista Manors brings resort living and investment options to regional cities and growth corridors.
That division of labor is the turn in this year’s results. Scale usually flattens what a company offers. Here, according to Vista Land, scale becomes specialization. Housing gets more responsive when it reflects where Filipinos study, work, raise families, invest, and build their futures.
The awards show the strategy is being noticed. Whether it holds as demand keeps diversifying is the next test.
Read the Vista Land awards as a map, not a shelf. A house in Dasmariñas City is built to be rearranged as a household changes. A studio in Bay is placed where roads and schools are still arriving. On Katipunan Avenue, a 41-storey tower stands among three campuses, with study rooms in the same building where the residents sleep.
